ASA’s Executive Director Arni Thomson is on the Steering Committee of the Mat-Su Basin Salmon Habitat Partnership. An annual science symposium is one of the Partnership’s tools for enabling collaboration between the various entities that are concerned with sustaining salmon in the Valley. The 2014 symposium was just held in Palmer on November 18 and 19. KTUU TV did a news piece on the event and interviewed Arni.
