The Alaska Salmon Alliance strives to be a clearinghouse for all Cook Inlet salmon-related news, data, and information.   Because we wish to provide a wide breadth of information, we sometimes provide links and documents that may conflict or present only one perspective on an issue.  Because of that, we feel it is important to note that none of the content provided on our website necessarily represents the views or opinions of the Alaska Salmon Alliance, excepting, of course, those articles authored by us.

• Economic Reports
  A variety of interest groups produce economic reports that illuminate the contributions of different user groups to the Kenai Peninsula and Alaska economy by salmon harvest.  We provide a variety of reports so that you, the reader, may understand the strengths and weaknesses of different gear types as they contribute to the economy.
• From the State of Alaska
  The State of Alaska, primarily through the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, provides a wealth of information, reports, and data that help us understand Cook Inlet fisheries.  This page provides links to those articles as well as some commentary on their effects on Cook Inlet salmon fisheries.
• Hatcheries
  Hatcheries have long been a fixture in Alaskan salmon production, but are also a controversial topic. This page provides information and perspectives on enhancement projects in Alaska and Cook Inlet.
