From the State of Alaska: ADF&G
The State of Alaska, via the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), is tasked with managing Alaska’s natural resources for the good of the public and all users. In Cook Inlet, several different ADF&G offices manage throughout the watershed. Salmon management is divided into commercial, sport, and subsistence divisions of management. ADF&G is also the primary research body for the State, producing much of Alaska’s salmon science currently used in Cook Inlet salmon management.
